@noodles tbh those requirements do scream Debian to me but I’d feel remiss if I didn’t proselytise for NixOS briefly. The stable channels are six monthly releases which get security and bug fix updates but no big changes.

It’s a huge change in mindset adopting Nix but I know of very few people who’ve gone back afterwards because it’s just so nice to work with once you’ve picked up the language.
