Okay, this makes sense if you read and understand the whole chapter about memory management, lifetimes and our friend the borrow checker. But you cannot tell me this code isn’t visually offensive.
I am not yet commenting on the cognitive burden a syntax like this carries as I’m far too early I’m my journey diving deeper into #rust but I have a strong feeling this might be something I’ll muse about at some point.
