@Edent @wishy@co.uk @neil@co.uk My ISP offers 5gbps for £45 and it's the housefrastructure that stops me upgrading. My router will do it ...but I don't have even have gigabit capable links around my house!

@jonty @Edent I might be interested in 2.5G if it's not much more than 1G but anything above that becomes a problem.
Only the server and the inter switch links are at 10G and most of my desktops are mini machines so bunging a 10G card in them isn't really an option either.
There are the odd occasions where having more than 115up would be nice but it will all come down to what the prices end up being
@Dragon @jonty @Edent my ISP recently started offering 2.5G for about £20 a month more and I refuse to buy it because then I’d feel compelled to replace a bunch of network hardware which is perfectly fine for what I do in order to download a AAA game in 5 minutes rather than 10 every six months or so.
