really want to get another tattoo. I keep thinking about getting MOSFET symbols on my forearm. maybe as a half bridge / CMOS.
@gsuberland box with 555 written in it and some wires trailing off
the opamp circuits and equations would be genuinely useful, but I suspect they would age exceptionally poorly because of the tendency for small text to blur into unreadable blobs with age. it's not anywhere near as bad as it used to be with tattoos in the 1940s, where now they just look like unintelligible globs of greenish black, but small text is still probably not gonna hold up.
@gsuberland always fancied a usb port symbol. Or qr code
@an0key if I ever ask for a QR code tattoo I'm tipping the artist double the asked fee, because that shit is a nightmare.
@gsuberland oh for sure
@gsuberland @an0key I knew someone who hit a Hitman style barcode on the back of her neck which correctly scanned, I imagine that’s the warm up for a QR code.
@jon @gsuberland "Do you have a clubcard?"
@gsuberland I have some jewellery that I think is naval or even a flag. Liked it as it was red and blue 🤣
Wanted a blade style barcode when I was a bit younger… thankfully just went for the eyebrow piecing.. still got in lots of trouble
I am also still partial to the idea of NPN, PNP, NFET, PFET, JFET, IGBT, SiCFET, GaN HEMT all in a row, then adding to it over time. but I might run out of space if I want the small details to hold up over time.
@dysfun @gsuberland ooh, maybe the 555 schematic?
