I tried the "ombudsman" line with EasyJet a few years ago - all it did was (a) give them a fit of the giggles & (b) made them dig their heels in even more
@MikeFromLFE @agvbergin my dad used to write letters to the managing director and I don’t know what he wrote but he always got a (favourable) response - but that was in a previous century
@CatherineFlick @MikeFromLFE @agvbergin I’ve had occasional success with Googling the CEO’s email address and going to them - I assume in most cases I’m actually getting their PA but the CEO’s office taking an interest is usually quite effective at solving problems that just need more than one team to think about it at a time.
