@pikesley yes, but these jobs come without any benefits or fixed hours you can rely on. What a world we live in.
@Tarah every time I’ve done this it would have been enough for me to hand over the phone to someone who sounds vaguely like a woman and have them say “yes, I’m X, he’s got my permission”.
@anon_opin it’s the bottles that are hyping you up that get me. “Keep on going!”
Mate, you’re drinking some water, not climbing Everest.
I think it's time for a reread of "I am not your supplier"
>What it means is that there is no supply chain here. Because there is no supplier. I am not providing you something that you bought from me. There is no relationship. I put something online because I wanted to. The fact you made your product depend on it is your responsibility. Not mine. Not the one of the providers. We provide libraries. We do not supply them. You cannot apply rules to me.

Or in meme form
@screaminggoat@infosec.exchange @jerry we could even put some sort of electronic device below the skin at the back of their neck, ensuring the information is always readable by anyone with an easily obtainable reader.
@Kierkegaanks @fesshole but… why? What harm is someone doing by claiming they spunked in the kitchen sofa?
Also so many of the Didn’t Happen crew will deploy it against the most pedestrian fesses.
I’d like to set up a website that authenticates users in such a way that a single person can’t (trivially) sign up more than once, but I don’t see any personal details beyond an anonymous ID. Absolute guarantees that that user hasn’t registered before aren’t needed, but there should be enough friction to put people off. Think Twitter accounts, not passports. I absolutely do not want to deal with email.
Is OIDC really the best option here?
@an0key two physically separate networks, both on 192.168.1.0/24, there’s no real reason for them to be separate even, just a new set of contractors came in and installed all new hardware instead of using the existing network.
@gsuberland I’m curious what you’re using that many monitors for. I have three, and quite frequently think it may be too many with the third just serving as a distraction.
It's actually kind of fucked that the concept of self-care is now being sold to us as "you deserve the right to spend money on consumable luxuries like bath bombs" rather than "capitalism is destroying us mind, body, and spirit and will always ravenously devour all time and space we have marked out for the maintenance of our own health and sanity"
AHHHH. Just sent the deposit and final legal fees for purchasing the flat I’ve been renting to my solicitors. I guess I’m committed now.
Ahh yes, that’s why I don’t really watch BBC News.
“Zombie knives, swords, and machetes are a growing problem. Our reporter is at a Border Force centre.” Followed by a report that has nothing to do with immigration or asylum seekers.
I’m tickled every time I go to put BBC News on an iPlayer asks if I want to watch from the start. Yes, please give me the news starting from November 1997, I missed a few episodes the first time round.
@UKFilmNerd @fesshole good news! You can almost always buy service remotes on eBay.
I’ve just been reminded Trustpilot exists, and am once again angry that there’s a widely used company whose entire business model is broadly a protection racket. Companies that pay them can dispute bad reviews, companies that don’t can’t.
@Eetschrijver @fesshole or maybe people tend to pick a different story for how did you meet than “at a threesome” if this is how it happened.
QOTD from a YouTube video my son is watching: “A fully evolved Corbynite will be incredibly annoying to deal with”.
(Don’t @ me, I t’s a Pokemon video.)
