duckduckfedi: are there HDMI adapters that remove pin 14 for HEC aka "Ethernet over HDMI"? I think that should exist with these spyware TVs

it will create collateral damge for (e)ARC but regular audio would survive I think
sounds like a fun DIY PCB design project but I don't have a good track record when it comes to signal integrity :^)
