@anon_opin Nah I think Terminator 3 while having its rough parts did actually work kinda well as a finisher. The idea they couldn't stop Judgement Day and just prepare for the inevitable felt like a natural thematic ending point. Its surprisingly dark science fiction for a blockbuster to tackle.
