@Edent what content are you requesting from the internet that was last modified before the internet was invented?

@Edent I'm thinking if you're working with antediluvian data you probably need a richer and more robust metadata system anyway

@Edent can you even set a file timestamp earlier than the epoch on a Unix system? If not, the only choices are to set it to the epoch or what they are doing now.
