I'm not really new to Mastodon, but I'm new to this specific instance, so I figured a good revisited #introduction would be a good way to kick things off!

I'm Mae! I'm an avid lover of all things #computers and #art !

I do most of my creative work in #krita but occasionally draw in other programs such as #tuxpaint when I'm feeling like having a change of pace!

I have some #gamedev experience, but I don't really use it as much as I used to back in the day. Still, it's an important part of my identity as an artist. I use Godot for most of my development needs, I'm currently chipping away at a Tomodachi Life inspired game called Kritture Heights (at a snail's pace, you're probably never gonna get to see this game lol).

Some other things that seem relevant about me:

-I don't mind being contacted in private, if anything mentioned here seems to line up with your own interests don't hesitate to reach out!

-I'm a major #nintendo fan, especially when it comes to Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, and some of the earlier Pokemon Entries! If it's on the DS or Wii I'm pretty much guaranteed to love it.

-I love music! Pretty much any genre goes! Music is so awesome!

-I'm gonna try to crosspost all my stuff onto my neocities, so think of that as the central place to see my content!

-I have a little webcomic that I update every now and then hosted on my site as well. I only mention this because I highly doubt I'm gonna bring it all over here to be readable, just any new entries I may make later on.

This is one of the earliest portraits I did this year, both in the original version that got eaten by the badly behaved HD and the v2 created from the surviving thumbnail. After so long I don't feel like retouching it just to add a random collar, sorry.

You are playing as chronically ill person with slight shortsightedness, who has experienced mental health difficulties in the past. You are trying to find a way to connect with the outside world, while staying safe at the same time.
The game's protagonist, @CautiousCauliflower, is loosely based on the author of the game (me:)).
Content warning: The protagonist exhibits some patterns of thinking that might be a little bit too familiar to people with anxiety disorders or trauma.

Many characters are sitting on a branch over a small pond, in nature. The branch bends under the weight of the giant Mastodon mascot. On his head, Carrot is fishing, but only gets a flower. Near him, the mascot of Misskey Ai-chan (a young Japanese student dressed in a school uniform and with cat hears) is fishing: she has caught the mascot of Peertube, an octopus. Pepper the witch is sitting in the middle of the branch, amused by the scene, and on the left, Pleroma-tan (a fox girl in a dark Japanese dress, with a fox tail) is also amused by the scene. Under the branch hangs the mascot of Gotosocial, a sloth.
