This weeks stupidity… I made a mini 5u HomeLab for my HomeAssistant and PiHole boxes that sit inside an Ikea storage crate.
Includes a Pi5 16GB, Pi 3b+, Pi Zero W2 and a Pimoroni Badger for stats.

Just discovered that I could add up the #ikea remotes that I had around the house as bespoke controllers with #homeassistant . I can control switches and lights with them now.
I've created a blueprint variation for the 2 button remote, and have a copy of a very cool implementation for the 4 button ikea remote.

So folks, don't forget to check if your Ikea chair is compatible with your screen. I'm not kidding. A thread 🧵.
I've had the problem with my new screen for several weeks now, that every now and then the screen goes black for a few seconds.
Today I had enough and wanted to investigate the problem. So I started changing all the cables, plugging the screen into a different socket, and and and. Nothing helped.
