An unseen deck supports the bottom frame that moves up into shadowy shore and into a smooth lake. Sunrise over the steep and deeply evergreen forested mountains that begin just a half a mile away, reflects pinks, peach and orange into this first layer of the lake. There’s a pier and floating deck in the lighted lake, then darkly reflected mountains all covered in a thin layer of clouds at the base of the mountains. Blue sky is peaking through above the mountains to the right. Clouds casting the sunrise are to the right. The view is due south.

A thin line of horizontal low clouds bisects this rich landscape. Above this line is a steep mountain covered in a verdantly green coniferous forest; a brilliant blue sky with white clouds fills the background. Below the thin line a river enters the photo mid frame flowing southeast off the landscape, its surface frothy in places with small rapids. Unexpectedly the river appears silver and a light shade of green. Its shores are lined with leafless birch, boulders and one large leafless big leaf maple tree on the left. There are a few rocky bars exposed in the river. The combination of leafless trees and autumn colored vegetation on the shores with evergreen trees on the mountain is intensely beautiful, evoking a desire to protect this living river, its inhabitants, its landscape.

So our heroine was sent on assignment away from the city of neon lights to investigate an incident in the State Park. Once she got there, she discovered that maybe the city just isn't for her.

Similar to the previous picture, the mud and purple growth around the mud pose no challenge to those combat boots. Her tan hat and black shorts the only major difference between the previous image.

Out in the deep forest, sopping wet, muddy roads. Our heroine with grey hair and purple eyes is wearing rain gear with a police visor/hood combo. It reads "POLICE" on the front of the zipped up rain jacket. She is walking.
