I finished the x-stitch that was supposed take just a few days while I waited for more floss to arrive. That floss has been here since the end of February and I am a much slower stitcher than I thought 😜

Today's progress on #CrossQuiltingChallenge2! (And *yes!* I *am* using needlenose pliars to #CrossStitch with!)
This morning has been weird as fuck. My emotions are all over the place. I need to do things that calm me. So I'm about to head to the river and then I will stitch the day away. It is going to be a new start of stitching, I need to stitch something small, stitch away the rage and all that. I think that means picking a pattern from one of these books, they seem apt at the moment.

I've been working on this the past few days--a kit called "Owls," manufactured by Design Works Crafts & designed by Marianne Savage. It's a bit of a bet between me & Husband that the directions for finishing this & 2 other kits will look nothing like when I use #CrossQuilting for a #CrossStitch #FinishingTechnique. Y'all wanna see the results when I'm finished? 😉

Advent SAL day one complete.
B5200 is the one thread I really hate working with.

I’m kind of bummed out so here’s a photo of a recently finished #crossStitch project, fresh out of the hoop. The prime number on the border is the recently-discovered new largest prime, which is cool in part because it’s possible to write it concisely. I have no idea whether its discoverer is gay, but I think it’s cool and gay and fun to find primes.
I had to frog a lot on this project, so I’m extra happy to have it finished.

Working on this year's holiday card embroidery: I am still undecided on which design I'll choose, or I might go for mix of these.
