@ygor Wikimedia are ok. iffy on the funding side, but other than that they're alright. EFF have a rigid worldview that unfortunately lands them into being fascist enablers at times. LF is meh, they don't do much more than ride the hype trains, and with little regard to ethics (see: blockchain). FSF are the scum of the earth, defending and deifying some of the grossest people to ever befoul the community, and normalising their behaviour. fuck the FSF, absolute bottom of the barrel.

@tofu @ygor yes, and with good reason. they spent the last two decades covering for and deifying some of the most disgustingly odious men in the open source space, and generally promoting the worst aspects of the culture.

@gsuberland GPL might as well be holy scripture to me.
