@vintagebuses That sounds like it'a been scraped from an article on Glasgow Live which I contributed to a couple of years back, so it's not really an independent source. That's one of the problems with AI, it can create all sorts of self-referential loops, but it treats it as independent sources. 👍🙂
@thisismyglasgow Absolutely right, AI takes paragraphs of previously written text. I checked AI's text on
https://ahrefs.com/writing-tools/ai-content-detector
and they confirmed that the text was at least 80% AI generated.
So I'm making a promise that I will not be using AI on my site for text content - it's easily checked if it was.
@vintagebuses @thisismyglasgow For someone like yourself who's an expert in a particular field, it'd be a tragedy to dilute your accurate knowledge with plausible-sounding but unreliable text from an LLM
