@Edent I'm pretty sure I've asked you this before, but what sorts of value do you find you get for the membership fee?

@owenblacker for me, it was purely that I was applying for jobs which said "must be a member of a registered professional body".
And, at the time, my current employer was willing to pay.
Nowadays it is a tax-deductible luxury which I pay for because I'm vain.
