1: There's no algorithm to fill your Home feed for you. You _must_ explore.
2: What are the feeds?
"Home" is who and what you _explicitly_ follow
"Local" is everyone on your instance
"Federated" is everyone _followed by_ anyone on your instance.
3: #Hashtags are important here, and can be followed. To do so, search for one, then click the "add" icon in the search results bar.
4: Follow (and unfollow) with abandon! Follow people who boost a lot, that helps you find stuff. But you can also follow people and choose _not_ to see their boosts, see first photo.
