I saw a preview at an event over the summer, and I'm really impressed with the backend system. They seem to have anticipated both the common and outlying but vital issues museums might encounter when managing data #MuseTech

Talking to a sizeable but cash-strapped museum service today... could museums that don't yet have collections online point visitors to the Museum Data Service (ideally linking to images hosted somewhere public)? #MuseTech

@jonty they will so very definitely be looking for people to do cool things with the data! Maybe museums+open house weekend for mapping perfect days out?

@mia My dream is still to have accurate data on objects on display in every museum. Maybe one day.
