I notice that some #rakulang critics have a sort of expression-negative personality.
In other words, instead of preferring powerful, flowing, flexible expression, it is not worth much to them. And worse, they fear that it gets in the way of DOING stuff (outcome over process).
This is a convergent mindset (arrive at one outcome), as compared to the divergent mindset of flexible expression.
And Raku is an expression-positive language. I like this aspect, even as a reformed "JUST DO MY FING-THING" person myself.
So: What would an expression-negative language look like today? Let's say, as a response to Raku?
Based on my research: 1) It should be a "just f'ing do it!!!!" language, in which fancy expression may even be acceptable--if available in auxiliary form, as some extension for example.
And 2) The entire approach of the project should lend itself to "just" (so, nothing fancy) and "do it" (broad capability & tons of examples).
