I would recommend picking up a used Nikon or Canon if you have compatible full-frame lenses. KEH is a good place to shop. You can find better prices but they always have fair prices.

Start with color, lots of reputable places out there where you can mail your film. See if you like it and want to stick with it before developing your own.

If you're patient, hit up garage sales and thrift stores. People shed film gear all the time.
