#MonthlyRecap 2024-10

- One of my best friends had their first child and I got to meet them! :D
- I played #DragonBallSparkingZero and the Lake House DLC for #AlanWake2

As for #gamedev:
- I'm still learning #UnrealEngine and C++
- #StarSpark main mode got a complete overhaul and that went well!

A screenshot showing a map in my game, Star Spark. It's all 2D pixel art, the map is of a volcanic area with a volcano at the top, lots of black and grey ground around it and lava all over the place. The rest of the map is a bunch of nodes with connecting lines to indicate a path the player may take. Going in one direction may cut the player off from other nodes they might've been able to visit if they'd gone another route, but they all lead to a boss fight at the end.
