Every new “future of work” startup is trying to fix Slack, which was supposed to fix email, which was supposed to fix meetings. At some point, maybe it’s not the software that’s broken. Maybe it’s work.
@Daojoan - XTC wrote a song called "No Language in Our Lungs" about the futility of attempting to make yourself understood using language. I believe that that is the real problem we keep bumping into. Making it easier to instantly type words at the exact person you need to type them at doesn't address that underlying problem.
