Having started printing parts for this cam-driven drawing machine I shall soon find out if an uncomfortable amount of trignonometry has been done correctly or not

Screenshot of a Linux Mint desktop showing the application OpenSCAD. In the window the left hand pane has fragments of OpenSCAD language. In the right hand upper pane there is a multicoloured preview of a structure with a big blue cam with an irregular outline, just visible underneath a smaller red cam is just visible. The main structure is yellow with one pink part and looks like a pantograph with a parallelogram structure. Parts of the structure are pressed against the cams so as to drive its movement.

(If you would like the code it will be shared in full at some point once I know if it will work or not)

The cam driven #openScad drawing machine seems mostly to work. It's also part of an announcement:

With other people around the area I live in I shall be exhibiting at the BS5 Art Trail on 7 & 8 September. I'll be in St Mark's Church in Easton & I'll have my H-Bot pen plotter and this one working - come along if you're interested in plotter art or if you want to see what art East Bristol is making :)

Next I probably need design a simpler pattern...
