@JMBragg @Edent Given that nearly everybody has a reasonably adequate display available in their pocket the need for such displays in easily vandalizable form is becoming redundant as rapidly as it's becoming feasible.
Point your phone camera at the QR code on the bus stop and see the times of the next buses in seconds. Or track the buses on a map on a web page (or in an app) with updates once a minute.
