@molly0xfff @pluralistic Agreed, copyright does help indie artists get paid but it also asymmetrically gets abused for profit by megacorps. We shouldn't hold copyright up as some perfect moral good. It has issues.
Ultimately I want to see a more thriving and vibrant public domain. The rise of AI hasn't changed this.
