Every new “future of work” startup is trying to fix Slack, which was supposed to fix email, which was supposed to fix meetings. At some point, maybe it’s not the software that’s broken. Maybe it’s work.
@Daojoan Seems to me that also these companies are leaving out half of the missing mission - "and control the solution".
Slack was supposed to fix email - and control the solution.
Maybe a true solution starts with not wanting to be the sole authority on how people communicate, which may be irreconcilable with building a communication business.
Not sure about email, that may be just because I like writing and think it has it's place. Agree with work. Hate it.
