Let's get ornate for #FensterFreitag. This is a gājhyā window (a projecting window under a roof) in the Newār style from Durbar Square, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Three elaborately-carved wooden windows in the Newari style, set in an enclosed wooden balcony (also finely carved) projecting from a red-brick wall. The windows are covered by a wooden lattice screen and the central one is square, while the flanking windows have a rounded arch shape at the top. The wood is weathered to a gray color that contrasts with the pinkish-red of the brick.
