DevOpsDays London, the volunteer-run community conference that I run, is looking for a new London venue for, in the first instance, ~400 people late-September 2025, and beyond for our long-term home. Any suggestions? Needs a main auditorium, good AV, catering, and 5+ breakout rooms. #conference #devopsdays #london #tech

@SamLR @issyl0 Unfortunately not off the top of my head - the requirement for a 400 cap main room *and* 5+ breakout rooms is tricky. Most of the spaces I know that could have hosted this no longer exist...

@jonty @SamLR Yeah, we’re having the same problem, it’s like “oh what about this place or that place”, oh, they’re closed.

have you thought about Universities/colleges?
I don't know about UK semester/trimester calendars, though.

@pascoda @jonty @issyl0 I think we had conferences all the way up to near the end of September this year with mainstream academic use starting around the 23rd of September looking at our calendar https://www.herts.ac.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0005/366188/Academic-Calendar-2024-2025.pdf It does vary institution to institution though, most FE colleges would have started by then and I don't know of any/many that would have a 400 seater auditorium

@issyl0 @jonty late-september might be a blocker but universities might be an option?
