Got #homeassistant installed and connected to my MQTT server. Successfully detected 300+ devices - everything except my #zigbee switches it appears. If I can't get them into HA, there's no point in even thinking about trying to migrate from #nodered.
More tinkering tomorrow, I think.
@NAB
You sure can, start by adding a coordinator to HA. You will probably have to pair your Zigbee devices again.
OK. Managed to work out how to get the switches onto the dashboard for starters.
Now I need to work out how I'm going to code for the 24 switches with 77 buttons and 231 possible button presses. This was easy in NodeRed. I suspect it won't be in HA.
@stooovie do you mean https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/supported-devices?
@stooovie These are the switches and there's no mention of Home Assistant. https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/TS0046.html
And there doesn't seem to be any reference to HA on other devices. Am I missing something?
@stooovie I can see you're trying to be helpful, but I'm afraid you're assuming I'm new to this. I'd already said my ZigBee devices were working through my current NodeRed system and that HA had picked them up all except the switches through MQTT, looking at the Z2M compatibility list doesn't help.
