I suspect we’ve all made something to improve our toolbox/workspace - please tell us what you’ve done and share pictures!
A5: I used a range of mismatched tool cases and it meant cases would get dropped, would open in transit, were difficult to carry and stack, some would have fiddly latches and fragile lids and covers leaving sections out of use, they had funny shapes, wouldn’t tessellate in the car boot, and generally frustrating to use.
My main improvement was when I decided to standardise on a set of tool cases. The case are of the same format, though different sizes and internal fitments. The lids latch tightly, they stack, lock together, are really tough, and can be stood on. The main case has wheels and a trolley handle, and it means I can transport tools from one place to another more easily.
