This morning has been weird as fuck. My emotions are all over the place. I need to do things that calm me. So I'm about to head to the river and then I will stitch the day away. It is going to be a new start of stitching, I need to stitch something small, stitch away the rage and all that. I think that means picking a pattern from one of these books, they seem apt at the moment.
@JustFi I bought a whole bunch of prints last year - that's one of the few that's actually made it to the wall 🤣

@fkamiah17 @TheBreadmonkey Thank you for the reminder, I saw that when I was out and boosted it so I would remember.....and then I got talking to the child and had people messaging me, so forgot! Next time I move, I will get a pic of the tbr pile.....

There used to be a branch of Borders in Inverness that had all kinds of unusual books, but the best bookshop was a tiny one in Broadford in Skye where the owner (who sold books and artist's materials) selected the books he had on the shelves on the basis that if ever he went bankrupt he would have plenty of books that he would like to read. I'm congenitally unable to leave any bookshop empty-handed.
