@yvan I use Proton Docs for writing. Seems to work pretty well. Copes with MarkDown etc. Not self hosted though.
@Edent ah, same folks as Proton Mail I see... I like the cut of their jib: "You should be free to work on drafts without your data being collected, scanned, and abused for profit." I'm OK with a free cloud option I can trust if that brings ease of use!

@Edent Thanks. Have registered, I'll have a play. I've no need for an email service or loads of data, just the odd household spreadsheet and docs, accessible-anywhere sorta thing.
