Four months after purchasing the @frameworkcomputer - they told me they'd forgotten to add some internal padding.
So they sent me the stick-on pads (free) and gave me this handy guide to fixing it myself.
I love that they guide was so easy to follow and the laptop is so quick to disassemble and reassemble.
@Edent @frameworkcomputer What does the padding achieve? Less keyboard flex?
I think I'm going to go Framework for my next laptop, but not till my trusty Dell G5 dies. I don't see the point of upgrading until my current laptop stops working 😅
@solarisfire Yup, pretty much - less flex and less impact.
Can't say I've noticed much difference!
